Teacher, Admin, Educational Assistant, Students ... We are all Leaders...

Leadership: What’s Trust Got To Do With It

1. Be open and honest: Let people know what's going on. Don't hide bad news.

2. Be credible: Do what you say you're going to do. Be true to your word.

3. Be humble: Ask for help when you need it. Admit you don't know everything.

4. Be competent: Know your job. Do it in a way that sets the standard for everyone.

5. Be generous: Give praise and credit to the people who deserve it.

CRC  Closure?

Picture

Unfortunately the board voted 5 - 3 to close both of your CRCs. Wright, Huscroft, Huser, Joy and Lang voted to close the DRC. (5-3) Trenaman, Maslechko and Lindsay voted and spoke in favour of keeping it open.
What will resourcing look like for the future?  Wait and see.

Historical Inquiry Project

Picture
Inquiry learning is an exciting way to teach and learn. A trunk filled with artifacts is a great way to jump start a unit of study on how our community came to be, living in pioneer times or  the explorers in B.C.or the beginnings of our provinces industries.
The website will develop as the project progresses
